There was pandemonium in the Akute/Ajuwon axis of Ogun State on Friday after a mob went berserk and burnt a police squad car.

The policemen riding the squad car were accused of killing an innocent Hausa truck driver. A video of the burning squad car has gone viral online.

According to the voice behind the camera who swore during the filming that the video was going to Facebook, the policemen were attached to the Ajuwon Police Station.

“They killed an aboki (Hausa word for friend, usually used to refer to Hausa folks in the Southwest), they burnt their car,” the narrator said. “Police wey suppose dey protect us, they just they kill us.”
