South African comedy show host Trevor Noah had some fun Thursday night as he mocks Nigeria and its Minister of Agriculture, Audu Ogbeh over his claim that Nigerians usually order for pizza from London via the British Airways airline.

WuzupNaija reports that the Minister made the comment when he appeared before the Senate committee on agriculture in Abuja to defend his ministry’s 2019 budget.

Noah found humour in the minister’s comment and poked fun at it on his TV programme “The Daily Show”.

He said:

“if you think you are addicted to postmates it’s nothing compared to what’s happening in Nigeria.”

He then shared the video of the minister’s comment with his audience.

Noah expressed shock that “Nigerians are flying past Italy to get British pizza?”

He added:

“While you are at it, why not fly past Amsterdam to get weed in Romania? This is so extra.

“So the story is, rich Nigerians send people to Britain to buy them pizza. Yeah. Which is such a waste of money and time.”

He then wondered what the plots in Nigerian porn movies would be like.

Meanwhile, his jibe at the country has evoked mixed reactions among Nigerians on Twitter. While some didn’t find it funny and claimed that he is embarrassing the country, others believe it was only for humour.
