Meta locks Kanye West out of IG account over ‘harrassing’ posts
Kanye West is facing the consequences for his recent online activity.
According to reports by People, a spokesperson for Instagram parent company, Meta, said that Kanye West’s recent posts violated the platform’s policies on hate speech, harassment and bullying, resulting in the 24-hour ban.
West had allegedly recently dropped a racial slur on Daily Show host Trevor Noah’s IG page, the outlet reports.
His online attack on Trevor Noah comes after the comedian commented at length Tuesday night on West’s split from Kim Kardashian.
