Nigerian gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo, and her husband, Pastor Blessed, have announced the arrival of their first child.

Mercy Chinwo confirmed the exciting news by sharing a music video on her Instagram page on Friday where she proudly displayed her baby bump, with a caption announcing her new bundle of joy.

She wrote “Lord, we are grateful; we approach Your throne with heartfelt songs of praise and thanksgiving. You’ve filled our hearts with joy, our lips with testimonies, and our home with celebration. Indeed ‘YOU DO THIS ONE,”

While the gender of the child remains a secret, online reports suggest that the couple has welcomed a baby boy.
