Nigerian comedian, Baba de Baba has responded to critics who lambasted him for praying for Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe after she unveiled her new lover.

WuzupNigeria earlier reported that Baba de Baba had prayed earnestly for the mother of two, whilst also stating how proud he is of her.

He further said that married women who don’t ‘guide’ their husbands well will end up loosing them.

Reacting to the backlash he recieved after his post, the comedian in an Instagram video on Tuesday, stated that anyone calling him names is st*pid because Mercy Aigbe’s new lover, Kazim Adeoti, is a Muslim, who is liable to marry more than one wife.

“I saw a lot of comments where people are attacking me for praying and blessing Mercy Aigbe

“First of all if you attack me you are st*pid because Mercy Aigbe married a Muslim, anything wey u no go fit chop, no smell am.

“If you are angry your husband left you or a man left a woman to marry another person or man marry second wife, whether he snatch am or them use juju take enter the man house, e no concern me, as long as, he is a Muslim, Islam supports polygamy.

“In fact if you no marry more than one wife as a man, you might not make heaven, as a Muslim.

“There is nothing wrong in what he did, if him wife dey vex, why she marry Muslim.

“If you are that kind of woman who deosn’t like cheating or second wife don’t marry a Muslim, especially Yoruba Muslim, Hausa Muslim, you can go and marry a Christian Muslim,” he said.
