Ghanaian actress and mother of one, Yvonne Nelson has said that marriage isn’t an achievement for her and that she will consider it when the time feels right.

She made this known while slamming a troll who told her that she should be considering marriage because she is getting old.

The troll stormed the actress’s Instagram page with his opinion, saying, “Yvonne Nelson, won’t you get married? You are getting old.”

The actress responded: “Marriage, like I always say, isn’t an achievement for me. Real love, kids, an education and happiness are. You can’t tell me how to live my life. The society you wanna please so much will kill you one day. No one cares about you anyways. I’ll live the way i want it. I can do the so-called marriage when it feels right.”

Back in February, Yvonne Nelson hinted at marriage when she revealed what will happen to those who come to her wedding without gifts for her.

“You’ll be bounced at my wedding if you don’t bring a gift. You cant come and eat my jollof for free. This perperh life must stop.”, she wrote on Twitter.
