Man United’s Brandon Williams joins Norwich on loan

Manchester United youngster, Brandon Williams, has joined Premier League newcomers, Norwich City, on a season-long loan deal.

The full-back who is on his first loan away from United passed a medical with the Carrow Road club.

Speakint to canaries.co.uk, Willians said, “It feels very different. It’s the first time I’ve ever played for a different club before but I’m just really excited to get started, meet everybody and get my season going.

“It’s a massive club and I like the way they play. I’ve watched them over the years and seen how they play.”

The 20-year-old made 14 Reds appearances in all competitions last season and will relish the opportunity to gain more first-team experience at Carrow Road over the next nine months.

Meanwhile, the Canaries manager, Daniel Falke, has hinted that the youngster could be part of their next game against AFC Bournemouth in the Carabao Cup second round on Tuesday evening.

“I think Brandon will be available for tomorrow. He’ll train with us today and we’ll make a late decision,” he said.
