Some pictures have surfaced on the internet of a young man who was allegedly beaten to a state of coma for stealing a laptop.

According to reports, the young man committed the office in Lekki Phase 1 area of Lagos. However, the actual day when this tragic event happened could not be ascertained in the reports.

It was gathered that instead of reporting the case to the police, the residents  of the area took laws into their own hands by beaten the young man till he was left unconscious on the main road.

The photos showed many passers-by gathered by the road side and watched the middle aged man lay lifeless on the road.
