A man identified as Jaafar Adamu has been arrested in Adamawa State for allegedly raping his neighbor’s wife in the Hong Local Government Area.

The police in Adamawa State made the arrest on September 15, according to a statement signed by the spokesperson of the command, SP Suleiman Yahaya-Nguroje.

The incident took place in Angwan Diocese Kala’a in Hong, where the suspect wore a face mask while committing the crime.

However, his face mask fell off during the act, leading the victim to recognize him. Despite his initial escape, he has now been apprehended.

The police are currently investigating the matter, and Adamu will face prosecution for his actions.
