LONGEST READING MARATHON! Nigeria’s Bayode sets new Guinness record

Nigerian born Treasure Olawunmi Bayode has set a new Guinness Record in the “Longest Reading Marathon” (Read Aloud).

The excited new record holder announced his latest achievement on his social media handles.

He wrote, “FOR THE CULTURE!

Hello everybody, something just happened right now!
My name is Bayode Treasures Olubunmi – I have just finished reading aloud for 120 hours non-stop!

I did it for the CULTURE.”

Bayode who said he hopes to make Nigeria proud by reading for 120 hours at a stretch with only two hours break every 24 hours finally proved that “Nigeria is great and has “LIBRARIES”.

Hundreds of school children visited throughout the week at the You Read Library, Yaba, Lagos, Lagos.

Observers, media outfits and public servents had also visted Bayode during the the week to cheer and encourage him.
