Published

Liverpool have completed the signing of Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich for a fee of €40m plus €5m in add-ons. The 21-year-old Dutch midfielder has signed a five-year contract with the Reds. As reported by Fabrizio on his verified X (formerly Twitter) account

Gravenberch was on Liverpool’s shortlist of midfielders last summer but ultimately joined Bayern Munich from Ajax for £20m. However, he has struggled to break into the starting lineup at the Allianz Arena, and he has now decided to move to Anfield in search of more regular playing time.

Gravenberch is a versatile midfielder who can play in a variety of positions. He is strong in possession, has a good passing range, and can also score goals. He is expected to add some much-needed creativity and depth to Liverpool’s midfield.

The Dutchman will fly to Liverpool this evening to undergo a medical and complete the formalities of his transfer.
