Lekki shooting: Nigerian Army lied against Sanwo-Olu – Nnamdi Kanu
IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu has said that the Nigerian Army lied against Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State concerning the Lekki shooting.
Recall that EndSARS protesters were allegedly shot by some soldiers of the Nigerian Army at the Lekki toll gate.
In a statement issued yesterday, the 81 Division of the Nigerian Army said that their presence at the toll gate was ordered by the Lagos State Government.
This has been labelled as a “brazen lie” by Nnamdi Kanu who said that they were ordered to the toll gate by the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.).
He tweeted:
“Nobody should believe @HQNigerianArmy’s claim that it was @jidesanwoolu that ordered for soldiers to be brought to #Lekki.
“It’s a brazen LIE. Since when did Governors become Army Commanders. #LekkiMassacre was ordered by the Fulanized @NGRPresident and executed by a Fulanized Army.”
