Lampard was not prepared before taking Chelsea job – Jorginho
Chelsea and Italian midfielder, Jorginho, has expressed his sincere opinion about Chelsea’s sacked boss, Frank Lampard.
The Englishman was fired from his position at the club three months ago after just 18 months in charge and was replaced with sacked Paris Saint Germain coach, Thomas Tuchel.
Speaking about the Chelsea legend on ESPN, Jorginho who lost his penalty role under Lampard after few misses opined that his former coach was not ready for the job.
He said, “Look, I’ll be really sincere here on Lampard.
“I believe, given he was a legend at the club, he skipped some steps necessary for learning before moving to a big club.
“He came to a club where he is a legend, without having experience at other clubs.
“I think he came too soon, skipped a few steps ahead and wasn’t ready for a job at this level, to be honest.”
