Policemen at Ilupeju Division in Lagos State have arrested a 45-year-old man, Sulaimon Shakirudeen, for public assault after touching his wife’s breast.

Shakirudeen groped his wife, Mrs Adebimpe Sulaimon, after a quarrel at her shop along Isolo Road by Palm Avenue Road, Mushin area of Lagos.

It was gathered that Adebimple told the police that her husband pushed, dragged and then proceeded to touch her breasts in order to get her attention.

Adebimpe alleged that Sulaiman was threatening her life and assaulting her in public by touching her breasts.

After being found culpable following an interrogation by the police, Shakirudeen has since been charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court for the alleged offence.

He pleaded not guilty.

The prosecutor, Mr Ajayi Emmanuel, asked the Court to adjourned the matter till 2nd March 2021 to enable the Police evidently prove him guilty.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. A. B. Adelabu, granted him bail with conditions. He was later remanded in Correctional Centre pending when he will perfect his bail conditions.
