A 32-year-old labourer in Katsina State has been accused of having anal sex with two ten-year-old daughters of his neighbours.
Nazifi Ibrahim’s neighbours – Muhammed Bature and Liti Usman, both of Ketare village in Kankara Local Government Area of the state – reported the incident at Kankara Police station on 2 February 2020.
The duo told the police that the incident happened on 31 January 2020.
They alleged that Ibrahim who is their neighbour “lured and deceived” their daughters to an uncompleted building near their residence and “forcefully had unlawful carnal knowledge of them through the anus.”
The police said Ibrahim, during interrogation, allegedly confessed to have committed the offence.
He had consequently been charged with an unnatural offence, according to section 255 of Katsina state penal code law.
The police prosecutor, Sergeant Lawal Bello told a Katsina senior magistrate court where Ibrahim was arraigned that investigation was still in progress on the case.
Sergeant Lawal requested a new date when the case could come up for mention at the court.
The presiding magistrate, Hajiya Fadile Dikko granted the request and adjourned the case to 2 April 2020 for mention.
She directed that Ibrahim be remanded in a correctional facility till then.
