The management of Katsina United Football Club has relieved the clubโs technical adviser, Mr. Azeez Audu, of his duty.
Sitting precariously on 15th position on the 17-team table of the Nigerian Professional Football League, Katsina United has played 19 games, won six, drew three and lost 10 matches.
The spokesperson of the club, Mr. Nasir Gide, confirmed this on Monday in Katsina.
According to him, Abdul was informed of his relief in a letter dated March 21, 2022 sent by the clubโs Chairman, Prince Abdulsamad Badamasi.
โAccording to the letter sent to Mr. Audu, the Management of the club deemed it necessary to relieve him from duty as a result of circumstances beyond their control.
โThe Club Chairman promised to pay the former Club TA his salary for the month of March, immediately civil servants in the state start receiving their salaries.
โThe Management of Katsina United FC therefore thanked him and wished him success in his future endeavours.โ Gide said.
