Katsina NDLEA arrests two men allegedly in possession of suspected Indian hemp
The National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency in Katsina, on Thursday, confirmed the arrest of two men allegedly in possession of substance suspected to be Indian hemp
According to the NDLEA Spokesman in the state, Mustapha Maikudi, the suspects were arrested by the agency patrol team in Danja local government area of the state.
He alleged that the suspects were found with 152 kilograms of the substance.
No other details including names of the suspects, their ages and residences were given.
Mustapha only said the investigation had begun on the arrest.
He said “NDLEA Katsina command intercepted a truck and found 152kgs of weeds suspected to be cannabis sativa on the 25 February 2020 and arrested 2 suspects. The case is under investigation for further prosecution”
