Kanye West has debunked claims he is hiring homeless people living on Skid Row to model his next Yeezy fashion collection.

His team said that the idea was not in its schedule and that it is not ‘aware of any product collaboration in development.’

David Sabastian, the founder of Skid Row Fashion Week, reportedly claimed he had met the Gold Digger rapper earlier in January.

According to TMZ, Kanye, 44, was busy recording his upcoming album, Donda 2, at his studio in Los Angeles’ Arts District when he and David met and agreed to create a Yeezy x Skid Row Fashion Week clothing collaboration.

They reportedly pledged to use 100% of the proceeds to help those living on Skid Row.

Not only that but the company would employ those who are unhoused to work at the Skid Row fashion factory, while there were early stages of planning a fashion show where they’ll hire those from the factory to model the clothes.

A Yeezy Gap spokesperson denied the claims and told The Post: ‘Ye has a deep and solution-oriented commitment to addressing issues surrounding homelessness.

But this reported event is not on our schedule at this time nor are we aware of any product collaboration in development.’

Some of the pieces were expected to be made from items found on Skid Row, with a bin bag puffer jacket reportedly one of the designs they were reportedly working on.
