Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has been spotted spending time with her former husband, Abdulrasheed Bello, popularly known as JJC Skillz. Furthermore, they were seen with their twin sons during a family holiday in Paris, France.
According to The Punch, videos shared by JJC Skillz on Snapchat on Wednesday showed the former couple enjoying different activities with their children. They did so while exploring the French capital.
JJC shares ‘family time’ moment
In one of the clips, Akindele, JJC Skillz and their children were seen together at what appeared to be a shopping centre.
JJC captioned the video, “Family time.”
Another clip captured a light-hearted exchange between the former couple as they spent time at a gaming section.
“Mama Ibeji, are we playing games?” JJC asked.
Akindele replied, “Yess ooo.”
Videos circulating online also showed the family visiting the Eiffel Tower during the trip.
Paris outing draws attention
Akindele also shared footage showing herself, JJC Skillz and their children at a PlayStation section of what appeared to be a mall.
The family appearance has attracted attention online. This is particularly because the pair separated several years ago but have continued to maintain a relationship centred on their children.
Akindele and JJC Skillz married in London in 2016 and welcomed their twin boys in 2018.
JJC announced their separation in June 2022, citing irreconcilable differences.
Former couple maintain co-parenting relationship
Despite their separation, the former couple have occasionally been seen together at public and family events.
In 2023, Akindele and JJC Skillz appeared together at the Lagos premiere of “She Must Be Obeyed.” There, they were filmed dancing and embracing.
JJC also directed the series.
Their latest appearance in Paris comes after Akindele travelled with her children to the United Kingdom for a holiday. This was following the completion of her latest cinema project, “The Four.”
While the Paris videos have prompted reactions from fans, neither Akindele nor JJC Skillz has suggested that their relationship has changed. They continue their co-parenting arrangement.
