Bayern Munich capped off their Bundesliga title-winning campaign with an emphatic 5-1 demolition of Cologne at the Allianz Arena on Saturday.

Harry Kane delivered a standout performance for the newly crowned champions, netting a brilliant hat-trick to inspire Bayern to a convincing final-day triumph.

The England skipper wasted little time making an impact, finding the back of the net twice in the opening 13 minutes to put the hosts firmly in control of the encounter.

Cologne responded with a moment of brilliance through Said El Mala, whose impressive solo run and finish briefly gave the visitors hope of mounting a comeback.

Any momentum gained by the away side was quickly halted as Tom Bischof restored Bayern’s two-goal lead before halftime, ensuring the Bavarians headed into the break comfortably ahead.

Kane later completed his treble midway through the second half, powering in his 36th Bundesliga goal of the season from just outside the penalty area with 20 minutes left to play.

Late substitute Nicolas Jackson added Bayern’s fifth goal in the closing stages during what marked his final appearance while on loan from Chelsea
