Kaduna shifts Local Government poll to September 4
The Kaduna Independent Electoral Commission (SIECOM) on Monday announced that the local government elections in the State to September 4, 2021.
The announcement was made by the Chairman of Kaduna Independent Electoral Commission (SIECOM), Dr. Saratu Dikko Audu.
Audu made the statement at the headquarters of the commission while addressing stakeholders in Kaduna.
This would be the third time the state would reschedule its council poll.
Recall that the election of chairmen and councillors in all the 23 local government areas of Kaduna state was earlier slated for Saturday, June 5, 2021 before it was shifted to August 14.
