JUST IN: One priest dead, another missing as unknown gunmen attack Katsina church
No fewer than two persons have been feared dead after unknown gunmen attacked a St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church in Katsina.
This incident which happened late last night saw two priests kidnapped.
The communications director, Diocese of Sokoto, Fr Chris Omotosho made this known to journalists on Friday.
The priests have been identified as Father Joe Keke Bello, who is in his late 70s, and Father Alphonsus Bello in his late 30s.
As of the time of filing this report this morning, the body of Fr Alphonsus was found (lifeless) in the farmland behind the Catechetical Traning School, Malunfashi while the whereabouts of Fr. Joe Keke is still unknown.
