JUST IN: No soul deserves to be in prison, Nnamdi Kanu reacts to Owerri jailbreak

Less than six hours after over 1,500 inmates escaped from a correctional facility in Owerri, Imo State capital, leader of proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has subtly justified the action.
The jailbreak was made possible after unknown gunmen invaded the prison and blew up the facility in the wee hours of Monday.
They also razed the Imo Police Headquarters with vehicles parked in the premises.
Reacting to the news, Kanu emphasised via his verified Twitter account that no soul deserves to be locked up in Nigeria’s prison.
The embittered IPOB leader stated that if insurgents such as Boko Haram and killer herdsmen that were arrested and freed can still roam freely in the country, nobody deserves to languish in custody.
Kanu tweeted “If Miyetti Allah terror herdsmen & other murderous #Fulani groups, including Boko Haram insurgents, can be arrested, freed and rehabilitated by this neo-colonial Fulanised @NGRPresident, then no single soul deserves to be in any prison in Nigeria. If you know you know! #UGM.”
