From the results of the election read so far by the chairman of the Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission, Alhaja Risikat Ogunfemi, the APC is leading in 41 out of the 57 LGs/LCDAs.
This is a developing story you can check later for updates….
WuzupNaija recalls that Ogun citizens went to the polls on Saturday to elect new council officials who will steer the affairs in 20 local government areas and 37 newly created Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) for the next three years.
No fewer than 17 political parties took part in the poll which many reports said was marred by poor turnouts of voters.
