JUST IN: Hoodlums raze Federal High Court in Ebonyi
The Federal High Court Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, has been set ablaze by suspected hoodlums.
The affected building is located along the Enugu/Abakaliki Highway, opposite the Peoples Democratic Party office in the state.
According to PREMIUM TIMES, the attack was carried out on Tuesday morning by vandals using petrol bombs.
The fire, which began in the early hours, affected the library and security post of the court building.
However, no casualty was recorded as firefighters got there on time to contained the inferno.
The State Police spokesperson, Loveth Odah, confirmed the incident.
She also disclosed that the attackers came in large numbers to perpetrate the crime.
