One killed as hoodlums invade Igboho’s residence in Ibadan

At least one person has been reportedly killed on Saturday as hoodlums invaded the Soka residence of Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho, in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.

The PUNCH reported that many others, suspected to be aides of the self-styled activist, were injured during the attack by the armed thugs.

Confirming the attack, Igboho’s lead lawyer, Yomi Aliyu (SAN), said that the assailants who were wielding machetes invaded the residence.

He also confirmed that one of Igboho’s aides was killed during the attack while others were left injured.

There has been no official confirmation from the Oyo State Police Command, as of the time of filing this report.

Meanwhile, the state Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso, has been unreachable for comments concerning the attack.
