Jenifa’s Diary: Funke Akindele seeks fans opinion on whether or not to bring back ‘Toyo baby’
Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, has hinted that she could bring back Juliana Olayode, popularly known as Toyo Baby, to her role in her TV drama series, Jenifa’s Diary.
Toyosi’s role was abruptly cut short in 2017 after she demanded an increase in her fee which was said to be N3,000 per episode back then.
That led to her exit from the show and a strained relationship with Funke.
Funke, however, shared a picture on Instagram on Wednesday, asking fans if they would like to see Toyo Baby back on the programme.
“Do you want to see her back in Jenifa’s Diary? Yes or No?” she said.
Reports say Toyosi had made several attempts to make peace with Funke.
The Lagos-born actress has been largely missing from the acting scene since her fallout with Funke.
Although she has acted in movies like Couple of Days, Where Does Beauty Go? Rivers Within, and Click Now, Juliana is still Toyo Baby to millions of her fans and followers.
