Dubai-based Nigerian Bureau De Change (BDC) operator, Ismaila Mustapha, popularly known as Mompha, has allegedly been arrested in Abuja.
According to multiple reports, Mompha was allegedly arrested three days ago, shortly after arriving Abuja from Dubai.
It was gathered that he was picked up by the Interpol and he is currently undergoing interrogation in the custody of EFCC.
The exact reason why he was allegedly arrested remains unknown for now. But a Twitter user suggested he was arrested for $5m internet scam.

Quick checks on his Instagram account shows that he last posted three days ago and sources are claiming his last post was the same day he was picked up
Kemi Olunloyo, a self-acclaimed Investigative Journalist, claimed the reports on Mompha’s arrest are true.
Taking to her Instagram page, the controversial journalist wrote,
Nigerian Bureau De Change King @mompha #Skyman reportedly ARRESTED in Abuja by the International Police @interpol_hq I have left several messages. Pls have patience. I’m an investigative Journalist.
Arrest was 3 days ago the same time he posted last a picture of his Lil girl. Interpol should release a statement soon on WHY he was arrested and exact whereabouts and whose custody he’s in. The @officialefcc said they will get back to me too.

WuzupNigeria reports that Mompha bought a car worth N150 million for himself. The big boy shared a photo of the car on his Instagram page while referring to the person he bought the car from as his blood.
Mompha shared a post showing off the multi-million naira Ferrari 488 Spider on his Instagram page.
In his post, he expressed that he bought the Ferrari 488 Spider after he heard that the car is fast and noisy.
Mompha was spotted sitting on the yellow Ferrari while rocking a yellow t-shirt himself.
