A member of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Promise Chisom Dike, has reportedly been attacked by suspected political thugs for allegedly parking his vehicle in front of the Peoples Democratic Party secretariat in Oyigbo.

The lawmaker, who hails from Oyigbo local government area of the state, had his SUV jeep burnt to the ground by the thugs.

It was alleged that the lawmaker’s attack followed the conflicts between him a group of politicians ahead of the party’s elections in the state.
