Influencer SaidaBoj loses social media accounts over controversial interview

Social media brand influencer, Sarah Idaji Ojone, also known as SaidaBoj has lost her accounts on popular video apps, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook after making some controversial comments during an interview.

One of Saidaboj’s accounts (TikTok) that has been blocked had over 1.3 million followers. Her Facebook page had over 368 thousand followers. Others can’t be verified as of the time of this report.

Saidaboj who appeared on the Honest Bunch Podcast became the talk on social media over her views on dating, marriage and divorce.

The controversial influencer could be heard saying, “24 hours after a man takes your number, you should bill him to know he’s capable else you are wasting your time.” She argued that it is the man’s responsibility to do so because she is beautiful.

She also argued that men are not scarce as widely claimed, adding that men are cheap and she respects women who leave their marriages because they lack happiness.

Saidaboj also told the Honest Bunch crew that the minimum she could bill a man she is on a talking stage with is N500,000.

“If you can spend up to 20 million per week, you can go through my legs. You can go through anywhere,” she added.

Reports making waves online alleged that a couple of mischievous Nigerians reported her social media accounts which led to the removal of her accounts from the various apps.

The comment of the influencer generated several reactions from netizens such as ‘cancel Saidaboj’, as she became one of the top three trending topics on X, formerly Twitter, with 23.3 thousand posts as of the time of filing this report.

Another X user, Olamide wrote, “Saida Boj has been banned on Instagram after being banned on TikTok for the statements she made on a podcast 🥴.”

Sharing his own opinion, Daniel Regha wrote, “Yahoo boys are partly the reason why someone like Saida Boj has that kind of mindset, same goes for married men who spend heavily indulging in extramarital affairs; People like ’em encourage nothing but laziness, entitlement, & dependency. Also, Nedu also shares in the blame, everything shouldn’t be content for clout or virality.”

Bad Lieutenant also wrote, “Saida’s way of thinking shows that she came from a financially disabled family. I don’t blame her, poverty made her believe money is everything. However, reporting and getting her social media accounts banned is not right. Remember, she’s entitled to her opinion.”

Popular rapper, Erigga also reacted to the controversial interview by calling for the arrest of every man in Saidaboj’s DM.

Erigga said, “Them suppose arrest every man when Dey the werey DM Dey send that 500k cos WTF … with her big shoe and DIY makeup… no fit pay makeup artiste before she go that show I’m pissed 😤”
