Voters have been advised to carefully check their information and ensure their registration details are correct.
INEC’s voter portal also provides options for updating voter information, transferring registration, replacing lost or damaged PVCs and checking collection locations.
The commission will display the Preliminary Register of Voters from October 9 to 15.
During the period, eligible voters will be able to inspect the register and raise claims or objections where necessary.

INEC said newly produced PVCs would be distributed to Local Government Area collection centres across the country from October 9.
Voters who are uncertain about where to collect their cards can check through INEC’s official portal or contact the commission’s Citizens Contact Centre for clarification.
