A controversial Ghanaian marriage counsellor, Cyril Lutterodt, a.k.a Counselor Lutterodt, has advised married men to impregnate their maids if their wives cannot conceive.

The marriage counsellor said if your wife is not given you peace, you can find solace with the maid, Ghana web reports.

Counsellor Lutterodt also warned that the married men in question should not be criticized when they make such a bold decision.

“If a wife is not exhibiting a good character and the maid is doing such, then what makes it wrong for the husband to make a move by going for the maid.

“Every man wants peace and so if your wife is not giving you that, and your maid is, then there is nothing wrong with you going in for her, he said.

Counselor Lutterodt further added that if a wife is lacking in character and in the home front, the maid should take over.

Lutterodt is a radio and TV relationship counsellor and a Reverend Minister. Lutterodt has been criticized for his comments about marriage and relationship.

However, he describes those critiques as coming across because of poor media reportage. Some of his quotes which have received many criticisms include “When a National Service Person proposes to marry a woman, that lady should report him to the nearest police station.”, “Dating is not a relationship”, “If you are a woman and you date one man for more than two weeks then there is something wrong with you”, “Never allow a poor man to marry you. A poor man’s marriage will kill you early. And when you die you will go to hell”
