Nigerian songstress Simi has reacted to reports making the round alleging that she is pregnant.

This is coming after an electrifying performance at the eviction show on Sunday in the Big Brother Naija house.

Reacting to a fan who asked if she was pregnant, Simi wrote:

“It is Because I’m fat in my tummy region.”

She also painstakingly replied some other Twitter comments blaming the stomach on drugs that make her look bloated and of course food.

“Honestly, I’m just rehearsing for my pregnancy.

“Cameraman tryna bring me down – but I have a father that will never ever fail me…

“Shit. I wanted my shoes to trend. Not my tummy. Shit. I’m out.

“I work out all the time. I’m taking these stupid drugs that make me bloated. Plus also food. Mostly food tbh. Maybe only food. Sigh.

“They’re not haters. Lool. Nobody likes fat tummy – but man must chop and still wear crop top for the culture. Everybody will be ok.”

Some viewers had posted zoomed Images of her protruding stomach while performing one of her songs on stage.

This led to arguments and attacks on Twitter.

Some viewers body-shamed her and advised her to hit the gym. Others alleged that she was pregnant hence the small visible bump.
