I will have nothing to do with D’banj until he clears his name, Popular OAP Vimbai says
Popular OAP, Vimbai Mutinhiri took to her Instagram page to reveal that she will not be working with Nigerian singer, D’banj until he clears his name from the rape scandal.
Recall that a few days ago, media personality, Benjamin Ese accused 40 year old, D’banj of raping a lady he met at an event in 2018.
The father of one has however petitioned the Inspector General of Police to look into the rape allegations heaped on him by Ms Seyitan.
According to Vimbai, she will not be working with the embattled singer, D’Banj until he clears his name.
Sharing a screenshot of the conversation she had with her organization, they reached an agreement that D’banj would not be involved in any of their events until his name is cleared.
Taking to the photo-sharing, the media personality captioned the post;
“If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. – Desmond Tutu.
“We have to allow the wheels of justice to turn, but until then we have to stand in alliance with the process of justice because we don’t know which one of us may need the credibility of that process to fight for us tomorrow…
“Thank you to this organization for choosing to let things play out.”
