Kaduna-born musician and content creator Logik Tha Pro has said he wants his work to reflect the everyday struggles and experiences of ordinary Nigerians. He wants this rather than focusing solely on entertainment.
Logik Tha Pro, in an interview with Punch, said his approach combines music, humour and real-life situations. This allows audiences to laugh while recognising familiar challenges in the stories he tells.
Logik Tha Pro draws inspiration from everyday life
The creator explained that many of his ideas come unexpectedly while he is carrying out ordinary activities.
He said he usually records ideas immediately on his phone before returning later to develop them into full content.
Logik Tha Pro also relies on reactions from friends when deciding whether some ideas are strong enough to pursue. However, he acknowledged that audiences can sometimes embrace content he initially considered less impressive.
He said his journey into professional content creation began almost accidentally.
What started as something he did for fun changed after one of his videos went viral. This convinced him that his creativity could become a serious career.
Kaduna upbringing shaped creator
Logik Tha Pro said growing up in Kaduna taught him resilience. This is because creatives in the region do not always have access to the same opportunities available elsewhere.
He believes Northern Nigeria has significant creative talent but needs stronger platforms, investment and structures. These are capable of helping young entertainers reach wider audiences.
The creator said his long-term ambitions extend beyond social media.
He hopes to eventually produce a blockbuster film and expand into major artistic performances in stadiums and theatres.
Logik Tha Pro said he wants to grow beyond being identified simply as a content creator. He also wants to establish himself across music, comedy, acting and other areas of entertainment.
Most importantly, he wants his work to speak for ordinary people.
He said many of his skits are built around everyday struggles and inconveniences that people experience but rarely discuss publicly.
The creator added that beyond views and social media numbers, he wants audiences to remember his work for promoting love, humanity and stories that reflect their own experiences.
