Chuks Emmanuel described by police as the ‘most wanted serial rapist in Egbeda

A suspected cultist, Chuks Emmanuel, described by police as the ‘most wanted serial rapist in Egbeda’ has been arrested.

Emmanuel was arrested by policemen from Area F Police Command, Ikeja, over allegations of rape, fraud and blackmail.

The suspect had been on Police Wanted List for months and was arrested last week in a hotel. Police sources alleged that Emmanuel used to lure his victims to hotel rooms, where he would then subject them to all sorts of blackmail after having sex with them.

Police said that whenever he was having sex with these women, he would secretly film them, and then later used it to extort money from them.

Emmanuel denied rape and blackmail, stressing that he only outsmarted the women.

He further explained:

“I came to Lagos a few months ago and things became too tough. When I could no longer bear the hunger, I thought of how to survive. I thought of getting women to have sex with me and then blackmail them. I thought of the most vulnerable. I discovered that the best targets were matured single ladies. I opened a Facebook account with the name Dr. Chibuzor, MD/ CEO Health Wellbeing Therapy. I started sending friend requests to ladies on the Facebook.

“My efforts paid off as single and matured ladies started accepting my requests. I sent friend request to those I suspected were lonely. It is usually from chatting that a relationship develops into love and affection.

“When I gain their confidence, I’ll request to meet with them in three choice hotels. To make them think I’m a ‘big boy,’ I would tell them that my boy will come to pick them. I’ll go to pick them, pretending to be an errand boy to the ‘big man’ that invited them.”

Emmanuel explained that before then, he would have paid for a room. Posing as an errand boy, he would lead the victim to the room, ask her to relax and wait for his master.

Emmanuel narrated:

“After about two and a half hours, I will return to the room, to inform her that ‘my master’ suddenly left Lagos on an important assignment. It is at that moment that I would start working on their brains; telling her how I could assist if she agrees to have sex with me. They usually agree, and after sex, I’ll then demand money from them, which they willingly give me.

“I think they succumbed to me out of fear and because they needed sex. There was one that surprised me the most. Immediately I touched her breasts, she started screaming that I should not waste time in ‘doing it.’ This woman has been sex starved for long. She is now claiming that I raped her. I did not rape any of my victims. They willingly gave their bodies to me. They also gave me money for reasons best known to them. Maybe, they were afraid I would expose their nude photographs on the internet, but it never crossed my mind.

“I am not saying what I did was right because I lured them to the hotels and used their brains in order to have sex with them. I also collected money from them after sex. The last one that put me in trouble was a lady that paid N55, 000. She told her friend and her friend reported the matter to the police. The police should not accuse me of rape and blackmail. I only used my brains to take advantage of my victims.”
