I have not made up my mind on PSG – Mbappe

Paris St-Germain star Kylian Mbappe has left his football future uncertain, revealing that he has not yet decided on his next move as his contract with the Ligue 1 champions approaches its end this summer.

The 25-year-old captain of the French national team has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid.

After scoring for PSG in their 2-0 victory against Toulouse for the French Champions Trophy, Mbappe expressed his strong motivation for the ongoing season, saying, “First of all, I’m very, very, very motivated for this year. It’s very important.” However, he remained elusive about his future plans, stating, “After that, no, I haven’t made up my mind yet.”

Mbappe highlighted the prior agreement made with PSG’s chairman, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, this summer, stating that regardless of his decision, it aligns with their mutual understanding. “We managed to protect all parties and preserve the club’s serenity for the challenges ahead, which remains the most important thing. So we’ll say it’s secondary,” he added.

Reflecting on his earlier contract extension with PSG, Mbappe explained, “If I know what I want to do, why drag it out? It just doesn’t make sense.”

He indicated that unlike his decision-making process in 2022, this time, he may not delay his choice until the last minute.
