How I felt when Church instrumentalists said they get paid – Joe Abah
Dr Joe Abah has revealed how he felt when he discovered that the guy who play music instruments in Church get paid.
In a tweet he shared, Joe Abah said that it took him a long time to learn that they get paid for the services they render in Church.
He tweeted:
“It took me a very long time to learn that those guys that play musical instruments in churches get paid. When I asked why they were not doing it for God, the guy asked me: “Is the Pastor doing it for God?” I weak.”
An instrumentalist reacted as seen below.
@youngbounty1 worte: “I am an instrumentalist…I play for my church and I’m also invited to play for other churches for midweek service. now I see it as service to God..I don’t go there for the pay..all I do is,if u call me,I check my schedule if I am free I go and if I’m not I reject the invitation.”
He added: “Now I don’t criticize those who play instrument for the pay….for God sake some went to music school,paid to learn….good music is expensive Bro….but if you have it as a talent please don’t be so Intrested in their pay….you’re as well serving God and you will be blessed.”
