Health ministry stops burial of LASU student killed by lover, prophet
The Lagos State Ministry of Health has ordered the family of slain Lagos State University 400L student, Favour Daley-Oladele, to stop her burial at the Atan Cemetery, Yaba Local Government Area of the State.
Speaking on behalf of the family at Atan Cemetry, Favour’s uncle, Solomon Toyeme, said the family had mobilised to the ministry of health to retrieve her corpse for the burial but they were instructed to suspend the arrangement until investigation is concluded.
Toyeme said,
“An order from the Lagos State Ministry of Health instructed us not to go ahead with Favour’s burial today. We were told that some procedures need to be taken and that we need to stop the burial so that we won’t lose the case.
“The family has made the —arrangement and were at the Lagos State Ministry of health to retrieve her corpse for burial when we received the call.”
WuzupNigeria reports that Favour, the daughter of a Pastor, David Daley-Oladele, was gruesomely murdered in a conspiracy involving her lover, Owolabi Adeeko; his mother, identified simply as Mrs Adeeko; and the pastor of a white garment church, Segun Philip, in the Ikoyi-Ile area of Osun State.
Owolabi and his accomplices after being arrested for perpetrating the crime had confessed to killing Favour. They also confessed to have dismembered her corpse and used some vital parts of her body for money ritual.
