The police have arraigned Adekunle Temitope, aka Small Doctor for unlawful possession of firearms.

A credible source at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Yaba, said the “penalty” crooner was arraigned before an Ebute Meta Magistrate’s court, the Punch reports.

The suspect had been paraded at the police command headquarters at Ikeja after he was arrested around Oshodi on Monday.

He was alleged to have threatened to open fire on a police officer before he was caught.

“It was alleged that some unknown men, four of them, in an unregistered green SUV had brought out a gun and threatened a policeman that if he does not leave the road, they will shoot him,” Imohimi said.

WuzupNaija gathered that Small Doctor had been involved in a similar offence and is still under investigation for firing live ammunition at the Agege stadium after a show on November 27.

He was alleged to have fired a gun; the pellets from the gun injured four people who were rushed to the hospital.
