HAVE YOU NOT HUMILIATED HIM ENOUGH? Fani Kayode reacts to Melaye’s imprisonment
Former Nigerian Minister, Femi Fani Kayode, has reacted to the imprisonment of the Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Mr. Dino Melaye.
Fani Kayode who took to his Twitter handle said Melaye has been torture and ‘imprisoned by the police.
The former minister in a post on his Facebook page also called out President Muhammadu Buhari for allegedly torturing and disgracing a serving Senator of the country.
He alleged that President Buhari is humiliating Melaye because he had the guts to oppose him and his supporters as well as criticised his government.
He wrote;
This is nothing but cruelty and wickedness. President Buhari, have you not humiliated and disgraced this man enough? And all because he had the guts to oppose you and your supporters and dared to critcise you and your government?
I urge you to call your thugs to order and not allow them to kill this man! If they can do this to a serving Senator then no-one is safe!

The Senator who was arraigned this morning was denied bail in the case of an alleged conspiracy and aiding of jailbreak.
The lawmaker was brought to court in a police ambulance around 9:17 am.
However, before his arrival, heavily armed policemen took positions within and outside the court premises.
As the case commenced, the prosecution, Alex Isihon, stated that the court did not have the jurisdiction to entertain the case.
