Manchester City’s manager, Pep Guardiola, offered his congratulations to Manchester United for appointing Omar Berrada as their new CEO.
Guardiola addressed the potential implications of Berrada’s move, acknowledging the concerns about insider knowledge transfer between the two clubs.
Speaking on the possibility of Berrada revealing City’s secrets to United during his pre-match press conference ahead of Manchester City’s FA Cup clash with Tottenham Hotspur, Guardiola remarked, “Yeah, but Kevin De Bruyne is still at Man City, Erling Haaland will play here too
“I’m not sure it is that easy. But if United thinks with this person [Omar] everything is going to change, congratulations!”
