Grammy Awards: US High Commission congratulates Wizkid, Burna Boy
The United States High Commission in Nigeria has congratulated Nigeria Afrobeats stars, Burna Boy and Wizkid, after both artistes won awards at the 2021 Grammys.
Wizkid won the Best Music Video for his song with Beyoncé; Brown Skin Girl, from ‘Lion King: The Gift’ album while Burna Boy, real name Damini Ogulu, won the Best Global Music Album category with ‘Twice As Tall’.
Congratulating them, US Mission wrote on Twitter:

WuzupNigeria reports that in January 2021, Wizkid released the video for “Ginger”, a song featuring Burna Boy. Ginger is one of the standout tracks off his latest project, Made In Lagos.
‘Made In Lagos’ contains 14 tracks and features from Burna Boy, Skepta, Damian Marley, H.E.R., Ella Mai, Tems, and more.
The video which was shot in London was directed by Meji Alabi.
