Woli Agba Mourns Late Gospel Minister
Nigerian comedian and gospel entertainer Ayo Ajewole, popularly known as Woli Agba, has joined other mourners in expressing grief over the singer’s death.
In a heartfelt tribute shared on his social media accounts, Woli Agba conveyed his shock at the news, describing the late musician as an angel whose departure had left him struggling to comprehend the loss.
“Ah! Toluwanisings! ‘An angel just passed on.’ 🕊️,” he wrote.
The entertainer also reflected on the singer’s distinctive vocal ability, lamenting the loss of a voice that had become familiar to gospel music listeners.
“A VERY UNIQUE VOICE has dropped the microphone and walked off the stage just like that.”
Woli Agba further highlighted the emotional connection Toluwanisings had established with his audience through his music, describing his death as a devastating loss to those who found joy and inspiration in his songs.
“What a painful and heartbreaking loss! A voice that brought joy, touched souls, and made beautiful memories has gone silent too soon,” he wrote.
Expressing the depth of his grief, the comedian noted that the singer’s death had created an emptiness that many would find difficult to overcome.
“Toluwanisings, your departure has left a painful void in the hearts of many. It is difficult to understand, and even more difficult to accept. Some departures leave us speechless, and this is one of them,” he stated.
He also offered prayers for the deceased’s immediate family and the wider community of friends, colleagues and admirers affected by the loss.
“May the Almighty God comfort your family, friends, colleagues, fans, and everyone whose life you touched. May He grant us the strength to bear this painful loss, and may the beautiful memories you leave behind bring comfort in this season of sorrow,” he wrote.
Reflecting on how difficult it was to accept the development, Woli Agba expressed disbelief at having to write a tribute to the singer.
“Can’t believe I am typing all these. Ohhh LORD! Life is freaking Fickle.”
He ended his message with a farewell to the departed musician, writing, “Sing with the Angels, Bro.”
