Today, December 9, 2016, is the birthday of General Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma, Nigeria’s Minister of Defence under President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Gen. Danjuma, who was also Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff from July, 1975 to October, 1979, clocks 79 years today.
Former President Dr Goodluck Jonathan was among the first people to send birthday message to the celebrant.

Gen. Danjuma was born on December 9, 1938 in Takum, Taraba State. He is a Nigerian Jukun soldier, politician and multi-millionaire businessman and philanthropist.
He is presently the chairman of South Atlantic Petroleum (SAPETRO).
