Gonzalo Higuain names top three strikers in the world
Inter Miami striker, Gonzalo Higuain has named Robert Lewandowski, Erling Haalan and Karim Benzema as the top three strikers in the world.
He said this ahead of Inter Miami’s Major League Soccer tie against Nashville on Saturday.
“Currently, for me, the best [strikers] are Lewandowski, Haaland and Benzema,” Higuain told ESPN.
“Karim has been there for a long time, in the elite for 12 years.
“Lewandowski, where he played, scored and won. Haaland is a great promise, with a great future. He surprised me. He’s a great striker.”
Lewandowski plays for Bayern Munich, Haaland players for Borussia Dortmund while Benzema plays for Real Madrid.
