GIVE ME YOUR MONEY! Nigerian pizza delivery man, Abdulganiyu Sanusi, killed in daylight robbery in the U.S

A Nigerian Domino’s pizza-delivery driver, Abdulganiyu Sanusi, has been killed in a daytime robbery, police in Pittsburgh, US have said.

56-year-old Sanusi was shot and killed on Saturday, and police say they are trying to find the suspect.

The shooting occurred in the afternoon, on the 100 block of N. Saint Clair St. in East Liberty, according to reports.

Police say Sanusi had gotten out of his car with two pizzas apparently ordered to an apartment building in the East Liberty neighbourhood shortly before 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

A police spokesman says a witness reported hearing a man yell “Give me your money! Give me your money!” and then heard a gunshot.

Sanusi’s body was found on the sidewalk in front of the building, a pizza box and delivery bag on the sidewalk next to him. No arrests were immediately reported.

The shooter fled and Sanusi died at the scene.

A Domino’s spokesperson released a statement to WTAE, saying,

“The idea of an innocent man being gunned down in broad daylight in the act of doing his job, is beyond words.”

They are hopeful law enforcement finds the suspect soon.
