The Ghana Police Service says it has arrested famous dancehall musician Charles Nii Armah Mensah aks Shatta Wale, for disseminating fake information that he was shot.
This development is coming hours after the singer turned himself in after he was declared by the police in connection with the phantom shooting.
WuzupNigeria had reported on Monday that the ‘Ayoo’ singer was shot yesterday in East Legon, Ghana.
The singer’s publicist, Nana Dope, subsequently followed up with a statement on his social media account stating that Shatta Wale had been transported to a hospital’s emergency department.
