‘Fvck You’ not a diss song, says Tiwa Savage
Award-winning Nigerian songstress, Tiwa Savage, has said her version of the “Fvck You” cover is not an attack on any personality.
WuzupNaija reports that since she released her version of the “Fvck You” challenge on Thursday morning, it has sparked a controversial debate on the social media, with many claiming that the lyrics of the song suggest that she is firing shots at Wizkid or her estranged husband Tee Billz.
Worried by the controversy the song was generating on the internet, the artiste quickly took to her Twitter page to clear the air.
Tiwa, who frowned at these claims by social media users that the song is an attack on an unidentified person, said she would never disrespect anyone in that manner.
She wrote:
“Other male artists don do their own challenge but na my own be sub? … IT IS NOT BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE, just a challenge I hate no one and would never disrespect anyone like that. NEVER”
