Funke Akindele celebrates 14 years of playing ‘Jenifa’
Film producer and actress, Funke Akindele- Bello, is celebrating 14 years of playing the character ‘Jenifa’ in her self-styled series – Jenifa Diary.
The movie producer made this known via Instagram on Sunday.
“Been playing the #jenifa character for 14 years,” she said.
Funke Akindele came into the limelight after starring in the popular United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA)-sponsored sitcom “I Need to Know”, which ran from 1998 to 2002.
She played Bisi, a curious but highly intelligent secondary school student.
